SUMMARY:2022 Spring Internships
DESCRIPTION:Build your technical, customer service and leadership skills while delivering a project to community partners, designing products to raise funds or demoing projects to build community support. CNCs, 3D Printers, Vinyl Cutter and other resources available.  The spring of 2022 will be our third semester focused on building our social enterprise foundation with students!\nAt this time we are looking to fill internship positions for an Equipment Technician ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c-tBIf7dB-JkqkBr3swtrnjmFOlSE1gf/view ) and Product & Service Development ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E9tyo-dWNJedpMsDWpVL3DIs_RmXWy5y/view ).\nOur activities and what types of companies we will be engaging will vary based on our product, service and event content ideas moving forward and the interests of each intern who is onboard each semester.  We will be visiting with different industry companies depending on our stage of development which will provide you an opportunity to see different roles in the process.  We can’t wait to continue building a foundation for student innovation and engaging student interests in the technology and engineering industries!  More about our journey as a social enterprise is available in our blog ( https://monumentalimpact.org/news/building-our-social-enterprise/ ).\nWe know spring schedules with class, after-school, paying job, family, friend and career activities can be hectic.  Our internships are a minimum of 60 hours and students will need to commit 5-6 hours a week in a spring internship.  We meet during normal business hours and are flexible, but prefer to have team sessions, instead of individually scheduled times with a student.  At this time we are planning our team sessions to occur sometime between 1:30PM – 6:00PM on weekdays.  Specifics will be determined by students accepted into the internship.\nEveryone’s journey is different, but it’s yours…so take ownership and see where your interests truly are.\nMake sure to subscribe to our Community Newsletter to receive updates and information on happenings in our community.\n
