SUMMARY:2022 Fall Internships
DESCRIPTION:Build your technical, customer service and leadership skills while delivering products / services, designing new products / services, developing event activities for our MITEE Exhibition or demoing projects to build community support.  Our goal as a Social Enterprise is to raise funds for programs while gaining industry experience. CNCs, 3D Printers, Vinyl Cutter and other resources available.\nFor the Fall of 2022 we are looking to fill internship positions for our Product & Service Development ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E9tyo-dWNJedpMsDWpVL3DIs_RmXWy5y/view ).  In addition to the activities above, interns can help with our social media, marketing campaigns for fundraising and managing our online store. A key project for our Fall internships is our MITEE Exhibition.\nOur activities and what types of companies we will be engaging will vary based on our product, service and event content ideas moving forward and the interests of each intern who is onboard each semester.  We find opportunities to visit with industry partners depending on our stage of development which will provide you an opportunity to see different roles in the process.\nMore about our journey as a social enterprise is available in our blog ( https://monumentalimpact.org/news/building-our-social-enterprise/ ).\nEveryone’s journey is different, but it’s yours…so take ownership and see where your interests truly are.\nIf you have questions on how to apply ( https://monumentalimpact.org/internships/ ), please let us know.  You can receive elective credit from D38 if able to complete 60-hours in a semester and you are able to complete projects per work assigned.\nWe will meet from 3:30-6pm at least once a week for our meetings at Grace Best in our East Rooms.  D38’s Transportation Team has indicated they can offer a ride from Palmer Ridge High School and Lewis Palmer High School to Grace Best for a fee.\nInterviews start the week of August 8th.
