DESCRIPTION:Join Monumental Impact at the Tri-Lakes Smokin’ Showdown & Palmer Paddle, hosted by Awake Palmer Lake!\nThis lakeside community celebration brings together paddleboard races, a barbecue cook-off, the always-entertaining “Dumb Things That Float” competition, live music, food trucks, and a local business marketplace.\nVisit the Monumental Impact Booth\nMonumental Impact will be participating in the local marketplace with a collection of items created through Made @ Monumental Impact.\nOur booth will feature:\n\nProducts developed and made by student interns participating in our Career Readiness Entrepreneurship Program\nCreative work and products donated by Monumental Impact members\nOpportunities to learn more about our makerspace, membership, internships, and entrepreneurship programs\n\nPurchases from our booth will help raise funds to support Monumental Impact’s nonprofit makerspace, student programs, equipment access, mentoring, and hands-on learning opportunities.\nMade @ Monumental Impact\nMade @ Monumental Impact helps students and community members explore the process of turning ideas into real products. Participants gain practical experience with product development, digital fabrication, pricing, marketing, customer feedback, and selling within a public marketplace.\nThe collection represents the creativity of our makerspace community while giving emerging entrepreneurs an opportunity to test their ideas, build useful career skills, and learn what it takes to bring a product to market.\nStop by our booth, meet members of our community, and take home something made locally while supporting hands-on learning and entrepreneurship in the Tri-Lakes region.\nAbout the Event\nThe Tri-Lakes Smokin’ Showdown & Palmer Paddle is an annual community event organized by Awake Palmer Lake.
