DESCRIPTION:Join Monumental Impact at the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce’s Community & Business Expo and discover the creativity, technology, and entrepreneurial spirit growing within our community.\nMonumental Impact will have two booths at this year’s Expo, giving visitors two ways to explore what happens within our nonprofit community makerspace.\nExplore Our Makerspace, Services & Programs\nStop by our first booth to learn how Monumental Impact helps high school students, college students, adults, and seniors explore, create, and compete through hands-on learning.\nMeet members of our community and learn more about:\n\nMakerspace memberships and access to tools and equipment\nEquipment training and project mentoring\nCareer readiness and internship opportunities\nEntrepreneurship and product development\nCompetitive robotics, including FIRST Tech Challenge, Combat Robotics, and Open Robotics Competition\nCommunity programs, workshops, and events\nVolunteer, mentoring, partnership, and sponsorship opportunities\n\nWhether you have a project in mind, want to build new skills, are interested in robotics, or are looking for a creative and collaborative community, stop by and see how you can get involved.\nShop Made @ Monumental Impact\nOur second booth will feature items Made @ Monumental Impact by students and other members of our makerspace community.\nThe collection will include creative work, small-batch products, prototypes, and other items developed using the skills, tools, equipment, and mentorship available through Monumental Impact. Some items will be available for purchase.\nMade @ Monumental Impact gives students and community members opportunities to gain real-world experience with:\n\nDeveloping and refining product ideas\nDigital fabrication and small-batch production\nPricing and preparing items for sale\nMarketing and presenting their work\nGathering customer feedback\nExploring entrepreneurship and pathways to market\n\nStop by both booths to meet our makers, see what is being created in the Tri-Lakes community, and find something locally made.\nAbout Monumental Impact\nMonumental Impact is a registered 501(c)(3) Colorado nonprofit providing a community makerspace for high school students, college students, adults, and seniors.
