Digital Designers: Blender Mentoring (Q2)
This mentoring-style Digital Designers cohort supports members exploring Blender for 3D modeling, sculpting, and creative digital design. Rather than following a fixed curriculum, the cohort adapts to participant interests, questions, and real project needs.
The first session provides an overview of Blender’s interface, navigation, and core concepts, giving participants a shared foundation. Follow-up sessions are driven by participant how-to questions, experimentation, and collaborative problem-solving.
This cohort is well-suited for creative projects such as props, assets, characters, environments, and artistic models, as well as models that may later be refined for fabrication or visualization.
What to expect:
- An introductory overview of Blender fundamentals
- Mentoring support shaped by participant goals
- Exploration of modeling, sculpting, and editing workflows
- Troubleshooting designs and workflows together
- A collaborative, low-pressure learning environment
This cohort welcomes a range of experience levels, from members new to Blender to those looking to deepen skills through shared exploration.
Recommended for:
Members interested in creative 3D design, digital art, asset creation, or expanding their modeling toolkit beyond traditional CAD.
