Topics include:
- What multi-color 3D printing is and common use cases
- Differences between single-color and multi-color print workflows
- Supported materials and color combinations
- Basic slicer setup for multi-color prints
- Managing color changes and transitions
- Starting, monitoring, and finishing a multi-color print
- Cleanup and care expectations for shared equipment
Completion of FDM 3D Printing Equipment Training (Intro) is required before using the multi-color printer independently during makerspace access hours.
No prior multi-color printing experience is required. This session is designed for members who already have a basic understanding of FDM 3D printing and want to expand their capabilities.
