Community Projects
Members Only
Building Together Through Making, Mentoring, and Collaboration
Community Projects are members-only cohorts built around hands-on making, collaboration, and shared growth. These projects are where ideas turn into action—and where community becomes something you actively participate in, not just observe.
Members work on real projects—often very different from one another—while learning side-by-side with mentors and peers in a supportive, accountable environment.
This is where our community values show up in practice.
What Community Projects Are About
Rather than following a fixed curriculum, Community Projects are project-driven and mentoring-focused. Members bring their own goals, interests, and challenges, and learning happens through doing.
Inside Community Projects, members experience:
- 🛠️ Hands-on making, building, fixing, and experimenting
- 🤝 Collaboration and peer problem-solving
- 🌱 Mentorship across skill levels and generations
- 💬 Honest feedback, shared learning, and accountability
- 🚀 Momentum—moving projects forward together
A Culture That Supports Growth
Our Community Projects are guided by the same principles that define Monumental Impact as a whole:
- Give before we ask — sharing knowledge, time, and support
- Stay connected — checking in, following up, celebrating wins
- Show up fully — contributing consistently and with integrity
- Lift as we climb — mentoring and supporting one another
- Have fun building the future — bringing creativity, curiosity, and joy to the work
Community Projects aren’t just about what you make—they’re about who you become while making it.
More Than a Makerspace
This community isn’t just a calendar or a Slack channel. It’s a network of people invested in helping one another grow through action.
Members often gain:
- Practical skills through real projects
- Confidence from building and sharing work
- Connections that span ages, backgrounds, and careers
- A sense of belonging rooted in contribution
Community Projects are where members take the next step—from curiosity to commitment, from interest to impact.
