Community Projects: 3D Scanning to 3D Printing (Q1)

Community Projects cohorts are members-only, mentoring and exploratory groups focused on learning by doing. Participants work together around a shared theme, tool, or challenge and learn from mentors and fellow members as projects evolve.

These cohorts are intentionally collaborative and flexible. Rather than following a fixed curriculum, participants experiment, ask questions, and help shape the direction of the work based on group interests and real project needs.

What to expect:

  • Hands-on experimentation and project-based learning
  • Mentoring support and peer collaboration
  • Exploration of tools, workflows, and techniques
  • Space to try ideas, learn from mistakes, and improve results

🔍 Community Projects: 3D Scanning to 3D Printing (Q1)

This Community Projects cohort explores the full workflow of turning physical objects into 3D printable models. Participants experiment with 3D scanning techniques, learn how to clean and refine scan data, and explore how scanned models can be prepared for 3D printing.

This cohort is intentionally mentoring-based and exploratory—participants are encouraged to try different approaches, share results, and learn together.
