Community Workshops & Classes

Monumental Impact brings hands-on learning beyond our makerspace through classes offered at community locations throughout the region.

Led by Monumental Impact community members, mentors, and volunteers, these classes introduce participants to practical skills in technology, engineering, digital fabrication, robotics, art, and making. Classes are designed to give participants an opportunity to learn by doing, explore new tools and techniques, and discover new ways to turn ideas into something they can create.

Many of our current offsite classes are offered in partnership with Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) at library locations throughout the community. Topics may include:

  • Combat robotics and engineering
  • Soldering and electronics
  • 3D design and printing
  • Digital fabrication and maker skills
  • Other hands-on technology and creative workshops

Registration

Registration requirements vary by host location. For classes hosted at Pikes Peak Library District locations, participants must register directly through PPLD. Class availability, age requirements, locations, and registration information can be found with each individual class listing.

Through our Community Services, Monumental Impact works with libraries and other community partners to make hands-on learning, technology, and creative opportunities more accessible throughout our community.
