Open Robotics Competition is a new robotics program at Monumental Impact designed to give high school students, college students, adults, and senior adults an approachable way to explore robotics through hands-on building, testing, troubleshooting, and competition.

This event is for current ORC builders, prospective participants, families, mentors, volunteers, and guests who want to see robotics in action.

What to Expect

Participants will have the opportunity to compete with their ORC bots, meet other builders, compare ideas, and continue improving their designs through practical match experience.

Guests are welcome to attend, observe, ask questions, and learn more about how Open Robotics Competition works.

As a new program, we are raising $2,500 to help bring Open Robotics Competition to the community. Your donation helps support equipment, field supplies, program materials, mentoring, and the development of ORC Starter Kits that help beginners get involved in this hands-on robotics learning opportunity through Monumental Impact.

About Monumental Impact

Monumental Impact is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community makerspace in Palmer Lake serving high school students, college students, adults, and senior adults.

We provide members access to tools, technology, workspace, mentoring, and community so people can explore ideas, build practical skills, create projects, develop products, and compete in robotics.

Guests Are Welcome

You do not need to be a current member to attend as a guest or compete. Come watch, ask questions, meet builders, and learn how to get connected with Open Robotics Competition and other robotics opportunities at Monumental Impact.
