Career Readiness Through Real-World Experience
For Interns, Volunteers and Members
Career Readiness at Monumental Impact prepares individuals for future education, careers, and entrepreneurship by applying technical and professional skills in real-world settings.
Participants gain experience through social enterprise projects and hands-on work that mirrors real workplace expectations—building confidence, responsibility, and capability.
Learning Through Real Work
Career readiness is built by doing meaningful work for an organization. Participants develop:
- Technical and hands-on skills
- Professional communication and teamwork
- Project ownership and accountability
- Time management and reliability
These experiences help learners understand not just how to do the work, but how work gets done in real environments.
Social Enterprise
Our social enterprise model connects learning with responsibility. Participants may:
- Create products and services using makerspace equipment
- Support real customers, partners, and community needs
- Learn pricing, quality standards, timelines, and delivery expectations
This experience builds entrepreneurial thinking while reinforcing professional standards and pride in craftsmanship.
Hands-On Experiences
Monumental Impact may be a nonprofit but we can offer mentored experiences across a variety of focus areas in an real-world organization, including:
- Product development and fabrication
- Service development and delivery
