2026 MITEE Gobble Squabble: FTC BIOBUZZ Scrimmage

Join us Saturday, November 21, for a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) BIOBUZZ scrimmage at Monumental Impact’s 6th Annual MITEE Gobble Squabble. FTC teams can gain match experience, learn from one another, and prepare for the season. Families and guests are welcome to watch the teams in action.
Event timeline
The team and match schedule is being finalized. We plan to include:

| Scrimmage concludes | 3:00 p.m. |
Guests can come during match hours to watch the action. The Makers & Community Expo is planned for 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., and food trucks are planned for the day. Check this page for updates before the event.
How teams participate
FTC teams will register for the scrimmage through Colorado FIRST. Watch the Colorado FIRST FTC page for event registration; we’ll add a direct link to this scrimmage when it becomes available. Space may be limited, so teams should follow Colorado FIRST’s registration instructions when they are posted.
Come watch
Guests are welcome to watch the scrimmage, meet teams, and see how students design, program, and drive their robots. While you’re here, explore the Makers & Community Expo and the other robotics competitions at Gobble Squabble.
Volunteer for the FTC scrimmage
FTC scrimmage volunteers apply through the FIRST Dashboard. Apply for roles that interest you, and complete the requirements for your assignment. Some roles include online training before event day. Your volunteer coordinator will confirm your role, training, and shift details.
New to volunteering with FIRST? Follow its event volunteer checklist. Adults must complete FIRST’s youth protection requirements, and youth volunteer eligibility depends on age and role.
If you’d like to help with the expo or other Gobble Squabble activities instead, visit Monumental Impact’s Volunteer page and mention Gobble Squabble when you reach out. Food will be provided for event volunteers.
