2026 MITEE Gobble Squabble: Robot Chaos

Join us Saturday, November 21, for Robot Chaos at Monumental Impact’s 6th Annual MITEE Gobble Squabble. Experienced competitors and first-time builders are welcome to bring a robot. Guests can watch the matches, meet builders, and see the engineering behind the action.
This year’s competition includes 150 g fairyweight and 1 lb plastic antweight robots. Each class competes in its own bracket. For rules, registration, and the latest competitor instructions, visit the 2026 Robot Chaos listing on Robot Combat Events.
Event timeline
The following schedule is tentative and may change as registration and event plans are finalized:

| 8:00 a.m. | Venue opens for competitors; check-in and robot inspection begin |
| Approximately 10:00 a.m. | Inspection concludes and bracket matches begin |
| Approximately 2:00 p.m. | Final bracket matches begin |
| Approximately 4:00 p.m. | Robot Chaos matches conclude |
Guests can come during match hours to watch the action. The Makers & Community Expo is planned for 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., and food trucks are planned for the day. Check this page for updates before the event.
How to compete
Register your robot through Robot Combat Events. Registration is currently open through November 18, 2026. The listing has the class rules, competition format, fee, and preparation details; please review them before registering. New builders are welcome.

Come watch
Spectators are welcome at no cost. Watch the robots compete in an enclosed arena, meet their builders, and explore the other robotics activities at Gobble Squabble. While you’re here, explore the Makers & Community Expo, or stay later for the Open Robotics Competition.
Volunteer
Volunteers help with setup, competitor check-in, guest information, event operations, and cleanup. Visit our Volunteer page and mention Gobble Squabble: Robot Chaos when you reach out. Food will be provided for event volunteers.
