2024 MITEE Gobble Squabble

Our 4th Annual MITEE Gobble Squabble, is a celebration of technology and engineering projects.  This event is open to the public but see below for when to see the action from the matches.  Come be entertained with robots and connect with others interested in advancing technology and engineering in the Pikes Peak Region!

Since this is our first year hosting at UCCS the event will focus on FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and Combat Bot matches only this year.  We will expand back the exhibitions of other projects based on interests shown. 

No outside food allowed in venue. We will not be hosting concessions this year.

What will be happening? 

• FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Scrimmage with Workshops
• Robot Chaos: Ant-weight combat bot matches

   Public Access Schedule
   10am Matches Begin (alternating FTC & Robot Chaos matches)
   3pm FTC Scrimmage Matches End
   5pm Robot Chaos Matches End (or...earlier if all demolished by then)

   FTC Schedule
   8:00-9:00am Teams check-in & pits open
   8:30-10:30am Inspections
   9:00-9:30am Group Discussions, Networking & Requests for Help
   10:00-12:30pm Mock Judging Available (Teams sign-up for a slot.)
   10:30-3:00pm Match Play (Rotated Lunch Break)

   Robot Chaos Schedule
   8am-9am Competitors check-in & pits open
   8am-10am Inspections
   10am-5pm Matches (Rotated Lunch Break)
