2026 MITEE Gobble Squabble: Open Robotics Competition
Build a bot. Test your design. Compete with other builders.
Join us Saturday, November 21, for Open Robotics Competition (ORC) at Monumental Impact’s 6th Annual MITEE Gobble Squabble. Bring your ORC bot to compete, or come watch builders put their designs to the test.
ORC gives high school students, college students, and adults an approachable way to explore robotics through building, testing, troubleshooting, and friendly competition. Families, mentors, prospective builders, and guests are welcome.
Event timeline
ORC matches are planned for approximately 3:30–5:00 p.m. Builder check-in, setup, and detailed match times will be announced as plans are finalized.
Come earlier to explore the Makers & Community Expo, planned for 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., and see the other Gobble Squabble robotics events. Food trucks are also planned for the day.
How to compete
Current ORC builders and newcomers are welcome. You do not need to be a Monumental Impact member to compete at this event.
Interested in competing? Email enable@monumentalimpact.org with your name, team or builder name, and whether you plan to bring a robot. We’ll follow up with participation details as they are confirmed.

Come watch
Guests are welcome to watch the matches, meet builders, ask questions, and discover how to get involved. You don’t need to be a member or bring a robot to enjoy the competition.
Volunteer
Volunteers help with setup, builder check-in, guest information, match support, and cleanup. Visit our Volunteer page and mention Gobble Squabble: ORC when you reach out. Food will be provided for event volunteers.
