Art Using Technology: AI Emotion to Reaction

Our interns have created an interactive art exhibit that responds to the facial expressions of viewers. Once the camera captures their face, artificial intelligence identifies what emotion they’re feeling. Each exhibit then transforms its art based off of the emotion into something that is unique to each viewer.

This project, consisting of lead mentor, Dr. Hutson, and a team of student interns, has been a collaboration with the Palmer Lake Art Council (PLAC) for their annual Chautauqua gathering in August  Thank you, PLAC, for your partnership with us on this project!
