Made @: Business, Marketing & Events Planning (Q3)

Made @ Monumental Impact gives members and interns hands-on experience turning creative ideas into products, preparing them for sale, and sharing them with the community.

This kickoff introduces the Made @ Monumental Impact program and the Business, Marketing & Event Planning Team that helps move products from the makerspace into community events, promotional campaigns, and sales opportunities.

Participants will learn how the team works together to:

• Identify products and community sales opportunities
• Plan product launches, displays, and event participation
• Develop pricing, packaging, and sales strategies
• Create marketing content and promotional materials
• Prepare for upcoming community events
• Review results, customer feedback, and next steps

The Business, Marketing & Event Planning Team provides a place for members and interns to contribute according to their interests and experience. Participants may help with business planning, product presentation, photography, social media, website content, customer engagement, booth preparation, or event coordination.

This kickoff will establish the team’s priorities, introduce current Made @ Monumental Impact products and projects, and identify upcoming opportunities where the team can put its plans into action.

Following the kickoff, the Business, Marketing & Event Planning Team will continue meeting to coordinate projects, prepare for events, and support the ongoing development of Made @ Monumental Impact.

This member program is especially well suited for:

• Members interested in developing or selling products
• Interns seeking practical business, marketing, or event experience
• Artists and makers who want help bringing their work to market
• Volunteers interested in communications or community events
• Aspiring entrepreneurs who want experience working as part of a team

Participants do not need to have a finished product or prior business experience. They can join the team to learn, contribute their skills, and help bring Made @ Monumental Impact to the community.
