Career Readiness: Jobs, Businesses & More (Q1)
Jobs, Businesses & More is a members-only, mentoring-style Career Readiness cohort that helps participants explore career paths, workplace skills, and professional development in a rapidly changing technology landscape.
This cohort is both discussion-driven and action-oriented, combining reflection with facilitated planning and decision-making. Participants examine real-world scenarios, compare different career and organizational paths, and work through how choices are made in jobs, businesses, nonprofits, and team-based programs.
Rather than following a fixed curriculum, the cohort adapts to participant interests and goals. Participants may explore traditional employment, small businesses, nonprofits, competitive teams, or entrepreneurial pathways—while considering how technology and AI are shaping opportunities and expectations.
What to expect:
- Exploration of jobs, industries, and career pathways
- Resume, portfolio, and interview preparation
- Examination of how AI and technology affect hiring and work
- Facilitated conversations that lead to decisions and next steps
- Planning activities tied to participant goals and interests
- Mentoring support grounded in real examples and experiences
Participants may also identify local businesses, organizations, or teams they want to learn more about or engage with in future quarters, helping shape follow-on cohorts and activities.
Schedule (Q1 2026):
- Starts: Monday, March 2
- Duration: Up to 3 sessions (maximum)
This cohort is well-suited for students, interns, early-career professionals, career-changers, and members who want clarity around their next steps and a better understanding of how work, organizations, and careers intersect.
