Combat Robotics Workshop

Join Monumental Impact at Pikes Peak Library District for a hands-on Combat Robotics Workshop.

Hosted at PPLD locations and led by Monumental Impact community members, this workshop introduces participants to the basics of building, testing, and competing with combat robots. Participants will work in small teams to assemble combat robots, learn basic design and build concepts, and then test their robots through friendly competition.

Monumental Impact is a community makerspace where students and adults explore robotics, technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, art, and hands-on making. Many of our community members are involved in robotics, especially competitive robotics such as combat robotics. Monumental Impact has also partnered with PPLD to host Combat Robotics and Open Robotics Competition activities at All Pikes Peak Makes.

No previous robotics experience is needed. Participants must register for this class through Pikes Peak Library District.

Wednesday, August 5, 1–4 p.m. — Monument Library
Saturday, September 5, 1–4 p.m. — East Library

Recommended for ages 12 and up.
