2026 MITEE Gobble Squabble
Robots, makers, and community—all in one place.
Join us Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Bear Creek Elementary School in Monument for Monumental Impact’s 6th Annual MITEE Gobble Squabble. Watch robotics competitions, meet the people who build and mentor, and explore the Makers & Community Expo. Guests are welcome, and there is no charge to watch the competitions or visit the expo.

Competition schedules are subject to change. Follow the individual event pages for team check-in, inspections, registration, and the latest match details. Food trucks are planned for the day.

FTC BIOBUZZ Scrimmage
FIRST Tech Challenge teams test their robots and strategies in practice matches. Watch students put their engineering and teamwork to work, or visit the scrimmage page to learn how teams register and how to volunteer through FIRST.
Robot Chaos
Fairyweight and plastic antweight combat robots enter the arena. Watch the matches, meet the builders, or visit the Robot Chaos page for competition classes, rules, and registration through Robot Combat Events.
Open Robotics Competition
ORC builders test and improve their robots through friendly competition. Newcomers and guests are welcome. Visit the ORC page to learn how to compete, watch, or help.
Makers & Community Expo
From 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., meet local makers, robotics teams, and community organizations. See what they are creating, ask questions, and discover ways to learn, build, mentor, or participate in the Pikes Peak region.
Interested in sharing your work or organization at a table? Email enable@monumentalimpact.org with a brief description of what you would like to share. We do not plan to charge a table fee.
Volunteer
Gobble Squabble takes many hands—from welcoming guests and supporting the expo to setup, event operations, and cleanup. Food will be provided for event volunteers.
For general Gobble Squabble, Robot Chaos, ORC, or expo opportunities, visit our Volunteer page and mention Gobble Squabble. FTC scrimmage volunteers apply through FIRST’s system and complete the requirements and training for their assigned roles; see the FTC Scrimmage page for instructions.
Sponsor or Volunteer as a Group
Businesses, schools, clubs, and community organizations can help bring Gobble Squabble to life. Ready to sponsor the event? Contribute through our 2026 Gobble Squabble campaign. Your support helps keep participation costs low, provide food for volunteers, and offer expo tables without a fee.
Groups are also welcome to volunteer together. Opportunities include welcoming guests, supporting the Makers & Community Expo, and helping with setup and cleanup. FTC scrimmage volunteer roles require a separate application and training through FIRST.
